Behind the designs
My love for flowers started early. As a child, I picked wildflowers, arranged them into tiny bouquets, and dreamed up ways to make the ordinary beautiful. That love for nature never left me, but it took a few years and a career in hospitality to realize where it would lead.
In 2003, I began my career in the hospitality industry. Over 22 years, I learned how to craft experiences that leave lasting impressions. I developed a deep understanding of aesthetics, emotion, and service—skills that became second nature. But even through all the beauty and fast-paced creativity of that world, I knew something was pulling me in a different direction.
I got my start in floral design and eventually became the co-owner of a successful studio. That chapter was full of growth teaching me the ins and outs of the industry. As my style evolved and my vision deepened, it was time to create something that was entirely my own.
That’s how The Violet Rose was born—named after my two daughters, Emory Violet and Sunni Rose The name is more than beautiful; it’s personal It’s a tribute to the two people who inspire me every day to lead with love, create with intention, and build a legacy rooted in beauty.
Today, The Violet Rose is a reflection of everything I’ve learned and everything I care about.
